Sir Paul vacations on Long Island's south fork. I had the honour of playing his songs on the north fork. Thanks to Barefaced Audio I think that he may have heard me.

Cab arrived. Love it! Already put to good use.

Thanks, again

I brought my Super Compact instead of my Super Twin because I believed that the P.A. for this loud classic rock band would include subs and a direct line for my amp. Nope. OK, I'll just turn up. Heavenly night for me thanks to Barefaced Audio

I've just moved on from a 15 year stint with a loud classic rock band. I got two BB2s to make sure I had enough headroom...and never needed to turn up enough for them to break sweat!

Back to Barefaced after trying a Fearless F112, Phil Jones and Glockenklang.

Keep up the good work!

Hi Cees,

Aha, that's good! How did the other cabs compare? They're certainly all good ones!

Best regards,

Alex

Hi Alex,

At home everything sounded pretty much okay, raising volume at practice sessions showed the weaknesses of the other cabs. The Glock got drowned to easily, the F112 was really power hungry and made my amps struggle. The Phil Jones C8 was pretty decent. My best experience in bands was with my BB2. I wasn’t in a steady band for a few years and starting experimenting again.
This BB2 will probably be a keeper. I’ve used two of your One10’s. Didn’t really work for me. And a Barefaced Four10. I’m obviously a 12XN lover.
Thanks for your support!
Best regards,
Cees

Terrifying is a good word 😆 lets just say I'm very careful with the volume

Hi,

I have bought the Big Baby some years ago and I am very happy. I am thinking of buying a Super Mini. What is the difference between a Super mini and a Super Mini T? There are 4 different weights. Steel and cloth is clear, but why 4 different weights? Is one with tweeter and one without?

Best,

Felix

Hi Felix,

Glad you're pleased with the Big Baby! Your deduction on the SM and SMT is absolutely right - the latter has a tweeter and crossover, hence the extra weight. If you use a Big Baby 2 or 3 then I'd expect the SMT to be a better match

So I got the cab and it is freaking SPECTACULAR man!!!!!

I love it! (Also I use too many exclamation points!!!)

It arrived safely and it works perfectly for my needs.

I wish you all the best and you’ll probably hear from me at some point soon when I convince myself I need yet another bass cab.

Ever since I discovered your cabs, this is the rig that I run... 280 watt head into a 1200 watt cab... Pure cleanness...
