We can help you get your projects done faster, more accurately and with less hassle.

We're Barefaced, a local manufacturer of high-performance guitar and bass speaker cabinets. We make our products here in Moulsecoomb, and a big part of what we do involves accurately cutting and machining sheet materials.

Last year we invested in a seriously powerful new CNC router, with a 9kW spindle, automatic 8-tool changer and vacuum bed. It's exceptionally fast and accurate – so fast, in fact, that we can complete our own production machining in the mornings.

That leaves us with plenty of CNC machining capacity available for your projects.

What can we do for you?

Whether you're making a one-off piece of furniture, fitting out a kitchen, building cabinets or producing a batch of components, we can take the repetitive cutting, routing and drilling work off your hands.

We can work from your existing CAD files, or you can bring us conventional drawings, dimensions or even sketches and we can turn them into something our machine can cut.

You don't need to be a CAD expert to use our services.

Your materials or ours

You're welcome to supply your own sheet materials, or we can order them through our regular trade supplier.

We generally receive a materials delivery about once a month, so if you're planning a project in advance we can often include what you need in our next order.

Straightforward, transparent pricing

We're not looking to complicate things with elaborate quotations or mysterious pricing structures.

We'll simply charge for:

• Any CAD design, programming and tooling setup time needed.

• The time required to load, machine and unload your materials.

• Materials or specialist cutting tools, if we're supplying them.

And because we have to work efficiently to compete as a small British manufacturer, we're very good at getting things done quickly.

That efficiency means you can benefit from professional CNC machining without having to invest in the machine, software, tooling or workshop space yourself.

What about specialist cutting tools?

We already have a good range of cutting and machining tools available.

But if your job requires a particular cutter, profile or machining operation, we're happy to discuss purchasing additional tooling. We've still got spaces to fill in our automatic tool changer!
