04/10/26 - Reality 112FR x2 (Activier 2 / Passive) - UK

Thank you for your recent delivery and the 112 Reality FRFR is working brilliantly in Stereo with my previous powered version.

I just wanted to clarify the tweeter room controls on the rear. On the powered cab I have two flip switches and on the passive cab I have control knob. Could you explain how these are both used to control differences in rooms / venues etc.

Hi Jeff,

The powered cab's switches are stepped versions of the control knob on the passive cab - we just didn't have space for the rotary approach with the amp in there as well. As the cabs will usually be in different places in the room I'd set them by ear. I'd probably set both about halfway (so top up, bottom down, or halfway on the knob) and turn up for more clarity or down to cut brightness/harshness.
