07/01/25 - Upsetter - UK

I have the Upsetter Barefaced AVD cab with an 8 ohm speaker. I had a quick question about the speakon jacks: I have 2 amplifiers both of which output to 8 ohms. I wanted to know if I could plug both amps into the cab so that I don't need to switch a cable between each amp. I would not have both amps on at any time. I think this is a definite no but I thought to ask rather than assume.

Hi Jacob,

I wouldn't recommend plugging both amps in at once because even when one is switched off its output stage will have the voltage from the other amp's output stage applied to it - and I doubt that will end well... Hope it's sounding good!
