08/05/26 - Activier (2) Reality 112FR - USA

Just wanted to let you know that I received the powered Reality cab about a week ago and have been blown away by how good it sounds and how well it works! You guys really have figured out something no one else has about how to make an FRFR work best with guitar. It sounds amazing on both electric and acoustic guitar.

I haven’t had the pleasure of using it on a gig yet because everything I had last week required bringing minimal gear and going direct but I will be using it on a gig next week and look forward to that very much! I’ll also work on making some youtube content about it soon.

Also FYI I’ll playing a few low profile gigs in the UK in June (not playing in Brighton unfortunately). I won’t be able to bring the cab since I’m having to travel very light so will be dependent on backline for that but in the US I’ll be using the cab a lot.

I’ve already told a colleague of mine,  a bass player,  about your company and he’s very interested. We are both professors at Wellesley College in the Boston area, in addition to teaching at Berklee. His name is Mark Henry. He’ll likely be in touch.

Anyway I just wanted to drop a note of appreciation about this cabinet. I think eventually I’ll order an additional, passive Reality so I can run in stereo. But even in mono the cab sounds huge, has a great amount of clean headroom  and just seems to be the X factor in making modellers sound very real and 3D for guitar in my opinion.
