11/08/26 - Activier One10 - USA

Alex and Barefaced Audio team,

I am extremely pleased with my Activier One10T having spent 2 months with it. I currently play it with my electric basses as it sits about 686 mm off the ground on a speaker stand using the top hat. I found setting the tweeter to flat provided the sound I am currently looking for. The backing audio I play along to also sounds great at that setting.

As a reminder, I play at home. One thing I did like before I got the speaker stand was the sound of the lows when the cabinet was on the floor. While on the speaker stand, I am unable to get those lows since I can not get the cabinet close to a wall on the stand. However, while on the speaker stand, I appreciate the clarity I get in the higher mid frequencies. I am considering getting a second cab to extend from the Activier One10T and for that cab to stay on the floor while the activier stays on the stand or on top of the passive cab.

I was thinking about another One10 as I do not need more volume and I had heard that adding more One10 will add more warmth. Lastly, I am considering having a tweeter in this one as well in the event I want to play this one through an amp. I do not think I would need a second tweeter when the activier is present. This tweeter would be used in the event that I hooked up an amplifier directly to the passive cab.

I would appreciate the team's thoughts into this second passive cabinet and if the One10(T) would be a solid choice.
