16/08/26 - Super Compact - Germany

Hallo Alex and all the Barefacers,

I’ve had my Super Compact now for two weeks and a couple of days, enough time to open up my ears and put it through it‘s paces. I‘ve had it off the floor, on the floor vertical and horizontal. I haven’t gigged with it with the big band yet, that’ll be in a couple of weeks.

I’m here to tell you that dreams really do come true if you dream them! I‘ve got it paired with a Mesa Boogie D-350 head, and my Fender Jazz Bass and cor blimey, super wizard prang and all that, I have got the perfect rig for me. It sounds so good that the compression and reverb pedals just get in the way, sonically speaking.

I like it best naked (the cab, not me) and barefaced, lol.

Thanks again,

Jonathan
