16/10/24 - Three10 - USA
I managed to broker a deal wherein I acquired a Three10 here in the U.S. for a very reasonable price. It's immaculate and came with the cover too, which is great. It sounds just as you described, very punch and not tinny or scrapy the way some 10 inch speakers sound. Really dig it. Only played at low volumes thus far but am looking forward to playing it loud at rehearsal next Tuesday.
As you can see from the attached picture, I presently have it hooked to my "disconnectable" Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2, which itself is still bolted onto its own 1x12 cab. At rehearsal next week, it'll be using my guitar player's Mesa D800 Plus, which will no doubt sound awesome. I'm just curious what other amps you guys have tried with this particular cab. Either in your own bands and ensembles amongst your staff or just from customer input. I'd like to get it its own dedicated amp so I don't have to rely on either unhooking my Shuttle or my guitar player's Mesa. Plenty of awesome used amps on the market. I have a lot of experience with Mesa, Genz Benz, Markbass, and Eden. A little bit of experience with Genzler and Aguilar. I'm definitely more of a rock player and play electric exclusively but would be open to generally anything. Kinda l like a warmer sound with enough punch to keep it from getting lost in the mix (which is one reason this cab appealed to me.)
Even though I didn't buy it from you guys directly, thanks for making an awesome and unique cab!
