19/09/26 - One10 - Austria
Hi,
I already own & love your One10 cab (perfect for pub/cafe gigs with my acoustic Americana/folk rock band). Now I'm thinking about getting a SuperMini for my Cumbia/Latin rock band - I live in a 4th floor apartment without elevator, and usually take the subway to gigs, so size & weight are very important factors; I want something that goes a bit "deeper" and louder than the One10 (with that band we tend to play larger events). I was thinking about a second One10, but two cabs are harder to carry than one that isn't much heavier, but just as loud. However, I absolutely don't need a tweeter (I play flatwounds, usually with a sponge under the strings, often with a Höfner bass - there's simply nothing going on in the upper frequencies...)
The listing for the Super Mini T doesn't have an option for ordering it without a tweeter, even though it does mention it in the description. So, is a Super Mini without a tweeter available, what's the price difference, and does it take longer to build than the Super Mini T (which you might have in stock)?
Thanks,
Roman

Hi Roman,
Glad you're loving the One10!
Historically the Super Mini T (fka Super Midget) was the only version we made, we then added the option of no tweeter for a while but we've sold so few of those that we've discontinued it and gone back to Super Mini T only (something we've learnt over the last year is that having so many variations on our models through options and customisations has a far bigger negative effect on production efficiency than you'd imagine). Obviously you can turn the HF control to zero to get the same sound - and it gives you the option of using it for vocals, acoustic instruments, small PA use etc when the T is on.
Of course, now we've done that we've started getting "no tweeter" Super Mini enquiries! I think making a mini batch of these would be efficient enough but we could only knock £50 off the price as it would be a custom order.
Best regards,
Alex
