26/07/25 - Super 12 (Super Twin) + One10 - Australia

Hi Alex I have a Super 12T 1st gen & a One10 - I think they’re both 8 Ohms.

My amp is a Genzler Magellan 800 with 2 speakon outputs it can run at 8, 4 & 2.67 Ohms. I’d like to connect the One10 as a 2nd cab to act as a monitor so the guitarist on the other side of the stage can hear me a bit better. Putting tone aside;

1) Will the 2 cabs produce equal volume?

2)Could the One10 be at risk of damage at non extreme volume?

3) Is there a passive device that could reduce the signal level received by the One10

Your S12T is definitely a 4 ohm cab! As long as you can hear the One10 so you can hear it distorting if you push it too hard then this rig will be fine. Glad you're pleased with them!
