I just got a one10 with a tweeter, the current version and it has a little different tone compared to the original one10 I had 4 years ago, which had no tweeter. I keep the tweeter off on the current cab. Are there any design changes that would cause this? The earlier version seemed to have a warmer tone.
Any info is appreciated.
Great cabs.

Hi Doug,
It's probably just your memory being unreliable then! ;-) Did you know we don't actually remember original memories? Each time we recall something we overwrite the original memory, so information/facts tend to drift through repeated recollections, and if we don't recall things they get lost, so whatever we do, memory is unreliable - as conversations with my mother prove! ;-) Also, the tone changes as the speaker breaks in.
Best regards,
Alex

I have a Two10 cab I ordered in 2016. Still love this thing! I'm considering to pair this with another Two10 when I'm playing larger venues, but i'm uncertain if its actually doable to pair it with the newer models? And would it somehow be possible to order it with the old design, so a new cab would match the old one??
Cheers

Well as your Two10 (4 ohm) has a cloth grill we can do a matching Two10S with the old badge if you add this customisation:
https://barefacedaudio.com/
If your amp is a 2 ohm minimum load then it'll be fine driving the pair with the Two10S @ 4 ohms. If it's 2.7 or 4 ohm minimum load then you'll need to upgrade the Two10 to a Two10S using this kit:
https://barefacedaudio.com/
Then you'll be able to use either cab at 4 or 12 ohms, so the two cab stack will be 6 ohm nominal load which all amps are v happy with and gets pretty much full 4 ohm power. Hope that all makes sense!

I am still loving my Radical cab! This might be a dumb question: to save space on stage (if needed) can I turn it vertical and get the same sound? I am imagining not, but just thought I'd check. Thanks for any info!
Cheers,
Ian

Hi Ian,
Try it and see if it works for you! Put the AVD side at the top. Let us know how you get on! Glad you're still loving it.

I have a Barefaced One10 with no tweeter, which I purchased second hand on Facebook Marketplace. Love it, so much so that I am looking at purchasing a second One10 unit for bigger spaces and so I can run my amp at 4ohms.
I was wondering, however: should I purchase one with a tweeter (which is what I was leaning towards) or with no tweeter, due to the fact that my first cabinet does not have one? Would it matter, sonically?
Cheers,
Tim

Hi Tim,
Glad you're loving your first One10! If you want more treble brightness/clarity/air in your sound then go for a One10T. It's quite common for people to stack a One10T on One10 - most people don't need two tweeters.

Alex

I recently picked up the super compact at a really good price, it saved me a lot of money over a new super third and my god, this rig sounds fantastic.
