Just received my Three10 and it sounds fantastic with my OB1. Clear right across the range with the EQ's flat. Looking forward to tomorrow nights gig even more. Was using a SC which is also great.

Gentlemen, I purchased your 12" Digital platform speaker cab. I'm using a Fractal FM9 turbo thru a Fryette PS-100. We are blown away with the efficiency and reproduction of the system. My 59 Bassman never sounded that good! I'm glad I decided on this instead of a powered speaker. I had a Friedman already. This is definitely superior. It's also incredibly light rig with a big punch!

Finally got to open it up with the cab and holy moly, that thing was CONCUSSIVELY loud in that room. I couldn't believe it. I had the amp turned up to about practice volume and it was still more than enough. I got compliments on my sound all night. Definitely got a lot of nice questions from the other guitar players and talked the brand up :)

So the church just ordered the Big Twin 3
I have a Big Baby 3 and am amazed by the sound quality and power of this little beast. I guess I’ll see soon just how loud the BT3 is...

I use my Big Baby 3 will a tube head for amplifying my guitars, and it sounds fantastic.

Hi again, just wanted to get back and let you know I couldn’t be happier with this cab! Still can’t get over how unbelievable it sounds, and it’s handling and frequency response. I’m throwing a lot at it in terms of power and dynamics (octave and synth pedals stacked with multiple fuzzes, along with delays, reverb and modulation) and it absolutely crushes it all. Was using Mesa powerhouse and diesel cabinets before, and this thing blows them out of the water.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your reply.
I'll give your workshop maestro's a little more work to do shortly once I put my order in for a One10 cab.
See below a baby snap of my/our most recent amp cab progeny. Thanks to you and yours for all that you do.

23/01/24 - Super Twin T - USA
Hi Alex,
Today, ahead of schedule, I am in receipt of a great deal of cardboard, blue-green L-shaped foam, and “fragile” tape. Inside of all this was something that might weigh less than the packing materials: an absolutely gorgeous Super Twin T. Wow! It’s so easy to carry, and so spectacularly finished.
And then there’s the sound. I’ve only explored it for about an hour so far and it’s quite extraordinary. It is so sensitive to what I do with my hands and how I adjust the amp gain and EQ. I’ve never experienced a cab quite like this, and I think I’m probably hooked. The range of what it can put out — not only in terms of volume but also in timbre — is very revealing and intriguing. Suddenly, I noticed what sorts of strings I had on my basses and which ones I want to change. My old Trace Elliot 2x10, even with its replacement rare-earth-magnet speakers, can’t do this.
This is going to take a little exploration and getting used to. I was a little worried that this cab would only feel like a modern rock machine; that it wouldn’t let me dial things back and get a more retro/vintage sound from a P bass, or that it would invariably sound too scooped in the mids. But I don’t think any of those things are true. The tone and driving force seem to come down to what I feed it and where the tweeter control is set. BTW, I’m impressed that incremental adjustments to the tweeter control actually make a difference. I’ve only ever hand on/off or high/low switches in the past.
In short, there is going to be a whole lot to explore with this cab. It presents itself as very versatile. I’m grateful!
Hopefully, one of these days I’ll come to the UK and maybe we can go for a bike ride together. :)
Cheers,
Tom

Hi Alex,
Very much loving the the Reformer 112 You made for me last year.
I ordered it with the default Vintage 30 driver. I'm now thinking of swapping the driver out for a Creamback G12H-75 which increases the headroom and possibly sounds even better while (somewhat miraculously) still managing a 100dB sensitivity. Although this has a bigger magnet (according to the Celestion website) there appears to be enough clearance to the edges of the AVD sonic wondrousness and the back of the cone would be in the same position WRT to the resonator/horn and so presumably in practice, this is a straight swap?
Please keep making the YouTubes, I find them fascinating.

Hi Jon,

I represented JL Audio for years, and am a driver junky... BTW, the cabs are fab! I've played to many thousands of audience members over the past years with them, using a Demeter VTBP-M-800D. Just a wicked good rig!

Hi Alex,
the cab arrived yesterday. I was a bit anxious before testing it, because I saw no easy way to return it if it turned out it wasn't my cup of tea - but thankfully it is :-)
It's a very pleasant-sounding cab, and it is smaller and lighter than my current option. I'm also positively suprised how noticeable the effect of the AVD is. The cone of sound is so much wider than with a regular cab! I'm now eager to try it out in a live setting. Thanks for your support!
Best regards
Daniel

Hi Alex
Thanks for that. After much thinking, I won't be going ahead and will be keeping my trusty Gen 1 Compact and Mini
which have served me well over the last 8 years or so.
All the best.
Steve
