26/06/26 - Six10 / Super Mini T - Germany

Hello everyone at Barefaced Audio,

I am about to purchase a One10.

As an owner of a Six10 (with an ampeg SVT on top) and a Super Mini T (with a Gallien Krueger MB150 on top) I am currently looking for the smallest and lightest possible cab of yours to mostly play electric bass, rarely double bass at lower volumes.

I used to like high accuracy cabs before playing your cabs (like Glockenklang amps, in case you have heard of them), but in a musical context, your cabs sounded instantly more fitting in a band context to me.

And I still love the SM for its capabilities considering its size, but I find myself gravitating more towards the 10CR than the 12XN these days.

And I am currently not sure if I need a tweeter with the One10. Sometimes it is better to keep things simple but in the other hand, you never know what  might come up one day musically.

I am sure you know what I mean.

What do you think?

Hi Felix,

If you're ok with taking the grill off and the 12XN out then could you put your Super Mini T on top of your Six10 and hear what the T adds to the 10CR drivers!

Hi there, I purchased a BB3 from you about 18 months ago, which is fab, and currently pair it with an Epifani 1x15. I just wondered how well my BB3 would pair with the 15:24? Also wondered how well they'd "stack" together (which is probably more important than it sounds!) I'd be grateful for your honest opinion...

I bought a used pair of BB2's. They are superb. For other applications I would like something smaller. I am confused by the routing possibilities of the Activier One10
Can I use two or three in series? Would they be able to be fed by one source? By that I mean a single mono line out from a preamp. I would like to have a modular setup. Sometimes one would do and other times I would like to add more of the same cabs

Glad you're liking the BB2's!

Yes, you use a One10 Activier 1 with up to two passive One10's as extension cabs, running the second One10 (first passive One10) from the Activier's speakon out and daisy-chaining the third cab off the second.

Alex - I gotta tell you, hands down is this the best bass cab I’ve played through and I have over $20k in bass gear.

Ampeg, Aguilar, DarkGlass, Fender, Orange, Bergantino, Phil Jones Bass, Genzler, Mark Bass, none of them have cabs that sound as good as this little Two10. And the quality build is great, and on par with Aguilar, who of all my brands seems to have the best build quality/tolex/durability!

What a dream bass cab! I may have to sell the lot. Or better yet, keep them to do live A-B demos in my bass studio!

Hey Isaac,

The cab made it safe and sound to London for pickup and I’ve been loving it so far. Light and space saving, sounds great and I hear it so much better on stage than my bulky 412.

Full stacks are nice if you’ve got roadies but I’m happy to have a 212 now, ha.

Hi Isaac & Barefaced Team,

the cabinet arrived without complications and is already doing its job perfectly (See picture atteched).

Thank you for your great work! You helped me a lot in optimising my sound! I am working on it for years now and the cabinet was always something which I had trouble with because of the beam. Your cabinet works perfect with its present but not harsh highs, spreading the sound in the room and its dynamic. For me even better with the Deeflexx (transparent thing in front of it in the picture). I tried out some speakers and for now it became a g12h 70th anniversary. But every speaker worked very good in it. It gets the best out of the speaker. I use the cab with the bass cut on, otherwise its too much bass for me :D I think it looses a bit of dynamic with the bass cut, but its still enough and it really feels great to play it!

I already ordered a second one, a radical, from you :D I am really looking forward to it ;)
