I am the happy owner of a Reformer 112 cab.

I've been thinking of getting one of your Usurper 210 cabs and have a few questions:

1) I am used to open back cabs (I have a Fender Vibrolux which I really like), so what would be the configuration of AVD which would be most like that? I play mainly clean/mild overdrive with American style drivers.

2) I would like the option of using the cab in stereo - I think you can wire it for mono/stereo.

3) How much would this cost (unloaded, I already have speakers), and what is the lead time?

Hi John,

1. I think the best way to look at this is to figure out how you'd like this to be different tonally to your Reformer and/or how you'd like it to be like the Vibrolux. So what do you most like about those cabs (for this particular goal) and what would you most like to change about them tonally? What exact speakers do you have in each?

2. Yes, we can wire it for mono/stereo and we also have a new unannounced wide stereo version if you're wanting as broad a soundstage as possible!

And now I see you're saying you already have speakers in which case question 1 is irrelevant (unless the speakers you're planning to put in it won't be a good fit sonically!) What speakers do you want to use in it?

I have nothing but good things to say about this cab.

I run it with a Ashdown RM 800 EVO III and it's a beast. My latest gig was an outside gig and I hade to turn down my amp because otherwise he could not use the DI to the PA-system since the cab was so loud. We were total of two bands that night and the other band used my cab also. Hearing the cab when sitting in the crowd was a joy and the bassist was very impressed with the accuracy and directness of the cab.

It's not a cheap cab but it's worth every penny it costs. Big thanks to Alex when sorting out which cab for me to buy and also to the employees that build these rock solid but very light cabs.

Just wanted to give you guys a shout and tell you that I got my hands on a three10 from a guy here in the states.

It’s absolutely fantastic!! This cab is everything!

Sound, size, weight, dimensions, sex appeal! It’s checking all the boxes.

11/07/25 - Activier Reality 112FR - USA

Well, my friends, you f*%king did it! I’ve installed the new Activier module today, and am very happy to report that your new design has essentially solved the EMI problem! The unit is now quite amazingly quiet, as you have proudly and rightly advertised.

EMI is gone, and the hiss is much much lower - overall, this is a much improved circuit layout if you ask me.

I would like to thank you for sticking with me as we worked together to improve the situation. You took me seriously and I’d like to think I did my part in providing good, actionable data.

How this was handled speaks quite a lot to your values as a company and something I will be sure to trumpet to those who ask my opinion. This Reality with Activier, I believe, is such a fantastic solution for us guitar modeling enthusiasts. I’ve played the Fender FR-12, which seems to be the king in everybody’s mind, and this one is just better all around. It’s a great bit of engineering, and the cabinet design itself has always been a game changer for me.

I believe that for the first time since I bought this product way back when, I’m truly experiencing what you want me to experience.

Received and it is amazingly accurate.

Since it was shipped to my office, I tested it with a low-end Focusrite we decided to use it to listen to music as a general mono PA. My boss likes it so much he wants to order a second (passive) reality and use the pair as an over the top office sound system.

I'll be placing an order for the second one on the company card soon.

Hi,

Had a few weeks now and it’s a great little cab. A couple of quick questions.

1)The wattage on the back of the cab says 250W but the spec sheet online says 200W (and 150W into the 8ohm one10) Which is correct?
2) Can you give me a guess on wattage into 4 ohms total (one extra one10T cab) and the wattage with a 2.76 load?

I don’t use any distortion effects pedals, just a compressor and the Nordstrand Starlifter DI and Preamp which offers tons of gain. Any tips on do’s and don’ts as far as pre amp volume settings into the Activier goes?

Glad you're enjoying it!

1. 250W is the internal speaker power handling. 200W is the power amp output into 4 ohms.

2. Around 200W into 4 ohms, maybe a bit more into 2.7 ohms

Mine was the one with greenbacks. Finally arrived today, and my god....it's every bit the Marshall 412 killer I expected! The dispersion is unreal.
