The Big 24 represents the pinnacle of our ability to combine cutting-edge audio engineering with vintage-inspired craftsmanship. This is the cab for anyone who want the extreme loudness and full-range accuracy of our awesome Big Twin 3 but totally retro aesthetics, which can be customised with endless choices of tolex and grill cloth. Like an automotive restomod for bass guitar world.

It's the exact same size as our Six10 - 24" (610mm) wide to look amazing under your SVT, only 13" deep so unlike any fridges it's easy to get in your car or through a doorway, and comically light for something so imposing on stage. From the outside it looks "just like a bass cab" - but on the inside it's an almost impossibly complex structure of bracing and porting and edge reinforcement and the SuperCooler Tech. The BT3 was the most complex bass cab ever - the Big 24 steps the manufacturing challenge up another level, hence the price.

Just like the Big Twin 3 it has the output and bottom of a 4x10" plus 1x18" stack, plus far superior dispersion and quicker transient response. For everyone from those wanting to hear their bass like it's through huge studio monitors to those stacking up the gnarliest FX chains and dominating the mix with layers of sound cutting through, sitting under and slotting between walls of guitar noise

Hello.

I recently got my Big Twin 3 and I couldn't be happier. I will be trying it out today for the first time and I am extremely excited.

I did want to ask, do you have any covers for these?

Al

I thought y’all might get some enjoyment out of looking at the best of British engineering both in the past and current.

Just a thank you for your advice after my request for info on your incredible bass cabs.

Although I didn’t by one new from you as planned I did get a beautiful Big Twin 3 pre-loved. What a monster for such a light weight cab. Clarity is wonderful and punch is awesome. For the first time I can hear a big difference between multiple amps. I will be looking in the future for a Big Baby 3 for smaller gigs. I am very proud to be an owner of your wonderful products.

Continue the great work

I haven’t fully got to grips with it yet but this combination is pretty good. It’s just about loud enough for a medium sized lounge.
Good job I have an understanding wife.

Out on a festival reggae gig with my Big twin II. Sounds Big.

I've posted this rig before but not outside in 100F heat, in direct sunlight for 3 hours. Note lens flare from spray-on sunblock. You will be *shocked* to hear it sounded great.

I understand that the power stage in the TT is designed to break up gracefully, and make good tone when it does, but I've never been able to turn up that far 😆

My Big Twin 3 arrived today and it was definitely worth the wait.

Performs exactly as I hoped!

I bought my DB750 new in 2002. I have yet to find anything that comes close to the sound this amp produces. Used in conjunction with the Nordstrand preamp and Barefaced cab, it’s the best sounding rig I have played through.

I picked up this BT2 on Wednesday and let it stretch its legs in the studio last night with the band.

Ibanez BTB805MS
Ibanez PTEQ
HX Stomp
Warwick LWA1000

I was a bit of a sceptic - hadn’t seen much written about hard rock/metal through these cabs - but I’m convinced it can do anything you want.

Love the sound and handling of my Big Twin 2x12 and my new 1x12 for upright.

Great cabinets.

This rig sounds soooo sweet 😎 a perfect combination!

I just finished a little amp and cab shootout. We compared my BB3 with a BT3 and a Rheingold BA112.

The Barefaced speakers outshined the Rheingold by far (especially in the low end department)

I love the cab I have a 1x10 and a Big Twin as well

The fact that everyone who uses one basically becomes a brand ambassador for the company shows how quality the product is. The amount of people who are freaked out by how light the cabs are when helping us tear down off stage always gives a chuckle too.

The Big Twin II does not look like a one arm lift but it totally is.

One of our favourite things about them on stage is if a monitor mix goes to hell, the dispersion is so effective you can hear each other crystal clear.

I have very recently become the proud owner of a Barefaced Big Twin 2 (Gen 3) bass cabinet. It currently bears the steel grill and I would like to replace with the Silver cloth option for that retro look, and the slight reduction in overall weight. I would be grateful if you could let me know if this is still available for my model.

Thank you for such wonderful products and I look forward to receiving your reply.

All the best

Martin

Hi Martin,

Glad you're loving the cab!

Have a read of this page here regarding grills - https://barefacedaudio.com/pages/cloth-to-steel-and-vice-versa?_pos=9&_sid=e7741516c&_ss=r

Kind regards,

Isaac

Hi Barefaced team.

Please can you advise on whether I can purchase replacement wheels for my Big Twin 2 cab (serial T103). They're a bit battered after several years of gigging and the axle on one is slightly broken.

P.S it's been totally awesome!

Thanks,

Rex

---------------------------------------------

Hi Rex,

Glad the cab has been awesome! We can sell you some more wheels, you'll need a silicone gun and some neutral cure silicone to fix them back in, in addition to the screws you can see there. I think you're only the third cab (that we've been told about) with broken wheels, and we've been using these wheels since 2009!

Best regards,

Alex
