14/09/26 - One10 - UK
I am absolutely loving the cab (One10). It is so light and the power it chucks out surprises everyone in the room. They all look twice when I fire it up. I'm currently powering it with a TC Electronics BQ500 head. The head is set as flat as possible and I get the tone from a Tech21 Sansamp and more recently I'm using a TONEX Pedal for Bass. I've been looking for a power amp which will give me true FRFR so I don't have to guess the head settings. Then I thought why don't I get an Active One10? Are your Activier's suitable for bass? After all, FRFR is FRFR isn't it? I defer to the expert for advice on that.
How does the Activier 200W compare to the BQ500 500W into 2 cabs?

Glad you're loving the One10!
Yes, the One10T Activier is very much a bass cab, just a small active one. Regarding the max output, I think the BQ500 will be a bit louder than the Activier but if it's anything like the TC heads I've tried before, not as clean or deep or uncompressed. You're welcome to order a One10T Activier (non-custom) to see if it does what you need and return it if you it doesn't! Obviously two One10's driven by an Activier will be louder than one driven by BQ500 (unless the TC is REALLY compressed and high-passed in the lows).
