I received my Super Twin cab last month and have used on a couple of gigs since.
Really pleased so far with both portability and performance, it really is a fantastic piece of kit (bloomin eck it’s loud! 🫨) and certainly lives up to all the great reviews!
Definitely a keeper so thanks for the ST recommendation!

I have been the proud owner of a 1st gen Super Twin cabinet since you launched it way back in the day and it's still going great.
I use a TC RH750 amp but now need to replace the amp. My question is what is the normal power handling of the cab so I can get the best output (wattage) amp i.e. would a 1000w output from an amp damage the cab or should I go for a lower output?
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,
It's fine with anything up to 1200W but you certainly don't need that much power (unless you're in a VERY loud band!) Glad it's still performing well!

Alex

Sounds f’n awesome! Thank you guys so much for getting it here before my gig next week, will do full review and send more photos once I put it through the paces onstage.
One happy customer,

The amp (Ashdown ABM600) and cab are working great, I’m not sure what the issue was previously but at the last gig they worked superbly as usual!!
Thank you for the help

I got to play at a great event at the O2 Academy in Oxford on Saturday evening and offered up my bass rig of Orange Terror Bass and BF Super Twin T to the backline. I had only good comments from the other bassists about how good it sounded, and mic'd up the bass players sounded immense through the venue's PA.

The BB3 has been truly amazing this past year. It crushed my last band practice with only half the power from my 250W @4ohm amp (BH250). The performance is just as good if not better than my past MAS manipulated vortex cabs ![]()
Cheers!

I've been super pleased with the cab and have been spreading the love within the small Icelandic bass player community!

I bought two Big Baby 3 cabs from you that have been amazing, but I'm looking for a lighter cab. I saw you had the Super Mini T. If I ordered one, what would the turn over time at the moment be?
Cheers

Hi Alexis,
That's great to hear! The queue is quite long at the moment but if you need a cab urgently we can rush one through:

Longstanding Barefaced customer over here--I have a super midget cab that I love. I'm really interested in the Big 24 for my larger rig, which involves an all tube Traynor YBA300 head. I've been using a Mesa 4x10" for the last number of years, which I just sold last year after moving across the US. The cab sounded good in general, but was too heavy and large given the output--mostly the depth of the cabinet that drove me crazy, meaning getting it in and out of the car and up and down small staircases in Boston was a pain in the ass.
On the aesthetic side of things, I prefer the cloth grills. For the Big 24, I see there's a silver cloth option, black cloth, and then also a custom salt & pepper cloth. I just wanted to check in to see if there are any other custom grill cloth options available. Is the black similar to what is shown on the Big Baby 3 here? https://barefacedaudio.com/
Probably a long shot, but I love me a black sparkle grill cloth similar to what Ampeg does here: https://ampeg.com/products/

Hi Alex,
Cool plan! Sounds like the Big 24 should fit tonally.
Regarding custom cloth (and tolex), it comes down to what we can get. Allparts are our usual supplier for the custom stuff:
https://www.allparts.uk.com/
If it's out of stock they'll usually order it in for us. We use the same silver cloth and the same black cloth on all of our bass and guitar cabs, so there's lots of photos of it on other models.
Best regards,
Alex

Sounds awesome, use it with the newer version with the tweeter but keep tweeter off.

Good afternoon, I just bought a second-hand Barefaced Big Baby 2 cabinet yesterday, which looks like a brand-new cab, but I have some distortion in the low frequencies on the E string when I turn up the volume.
The problem appears with an Aguilar 500 at volume 3 and gain 3, unless the cab can support 800w. Could you tell me if I have to check the HP or another setting? A good advice would be appreciated. Otherwise, the cabinet is perfect - light, with an excellent sound, thank you for that (and for my back!)
Alex

Hi Alex,
Sorry to hear about the unwanted noise! Are you sure it isn't the amp distorting (I know you don't have the volume very high but that doesn't mean the amp isn't reaching full power and clipping. But do check through this page and report back: https://barefacedaudio.
Best regards,
Alex

I have had, used and been delighted with my Super Twin for years, and would like a One10 to drag to rehearsals.
