02/01/25 - Big Twin 2 - UK
The fact that everyone who uses one basically becomes a brand ambassador for the company shows how quality the product is. The amount of people who are freaked out by how light the cabs are when helping us tear down off stage always gives a chuckle too.
The Big Twin II does not look like a one arm lift but it totally is.
One of our favourite things about them on stage is if a monitor mix goes to hell, the dispersion is so effective you can hear each other crystal clear.

I bought my Super Twin in 2016 and the first thing that jumped out at me was how honest the sound was! Everything I did came through. It made me play the "bass" more than the "amp" if that makes sense? I love the fact that it is so clean and honest with the sound it puts out and wow it's loud! You can use a lower powered amp and still fill a room with great quality sound.
I was using an Ampeg SVT 410HLF cab before I got it which weighed about 50KG and the Super Twin weighs 19KG and sounds better (at least in my humble opinion!). I can honestly say it's the best bit of gear I've ever bought.

The Reformer is as I thought it would be.
The sound dispersion is unbelievable, and the tonal sounds are amazing, and the mini toggle switch really does make a noticeable difference which I find very useful indeed.
I will be using my local rehearsal rooms next Friday, I will let you know how it went.
The Reformer is an amazing piece of kit without a doubt.

Super pumped! Just got my Super Mini T. Everything I hoped for. In the market for a separate power amp but for now, my Felix2 into the effects loop of my AI Focus, out into this is amazing with both my double bass REMIC MICROPHONES 5400LB, and Realist Lifeline combo, as well as my G&L SB2.
Couldn’t be happier!

Dear Alex and team, it's been a crazy bit since I received my wonderful and amazing 3x10 cab from you guys, just wanted to say WOW!! I mean THANK YOU! I mean, I'm not sure what else to say!
This thing is absolutely amazing! I have not had a chance to gig with it yet, but, when I got this thing plugged up at the house..wheewww!! I immediately had to roll back the low end that was being sent to my previous Ampeg 4x10. This thing sounds huge and full! Got it dialed in at the house and can't wait to get it on stage!
Since it is that time of year, wishing you and your team the best holiday season and a wonderful new year! Thank you from the USA for some of the best bass cabs ever built, all the way in the UK!

17/12/24 - Big Baby 3 - USA
I picked up a Big Baby 3 earlier this year and I love it a little more every time I gig it out. It was the perfect upgrade for my mini rig.
I wanted to pick up a 4x10 and 2x10 for a modular 6x10 setup. My plan was to get both as 4ohm models because pretty much every head I have is 2ohms capable. Currently rotating between a trio of Mesas (strategy 8:88, big block 750, and TT-800) and an Eden WT800. Based on the comprehensive information on the site and the youtube channel
I’m assuming this will be a badass rig but wanted to reach out in case there was something I hadn’t considered. Thanks in advance!
Alex

Hi Alex,
Glad you're loving the BB3!
Regarding the impedances, I would tend towards an 8 ohm Four10 and a 4/12 Two10S, so you can get equal power distribution when run as 6x10CR. What cabs are you currently using in your big rig and what do you most like/dislike about them?
Best regards,
Alex

Thank you for your time a couple of weeks ago and apologies for the false alarm. I’ve used the 210 with an Ampeg pf500 for two gigs since then and had great feedback from the crowd. Really happy with it and my back is happy too!
Keep up the good work and thanks again.

Hi Alex.
My Ampeg PF 500 died and I now have a Blackstar elite 700H. What a difference. My 210ST has come to life. Very happy.

Hi - I have a question about the crossover on my Big Baby 3s. The documentation implies that the knob moves the crossover point, rather than just controlling horn level; my question is, where can I set this so as to run the 12" as full-range as possible? Any tips?
Love these boxes - they've changed my thinking on weight, watts, etc...
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Glad you're loving the cabs! The effective crossover point moves but the 12XN always runs full-range. If you have the HF control most of the way up, then the cab sound will be very very close to the DI sound. If you mic the 12XN it'll be smoother/mellower because you won't have the top-end of the HF driver. Lots of options! Trust your ears!
Best regards,
Alex

Hello Barefaced team,
I’m enjoying the 2x10 Cab!! I think it is still breaking in as I’ve only played 2 shows at gig volume on it. I did want to inquire about your thoughts/recommendations on a good amplifier to pair this cab with.
I currently use a GK MB-200 and I don’t have any issues with needing more volume but this head is very simple and you can’t dial in any drive so it’s a bit sterile. I have used my Mesa Walkabout head and it sounds pretty good but it’s heavy and is impossible to carry in a backpack.
Playing a Music Man Stingray 4. Mostly covers, ranging from Fall Out Boy, the Killers, the Struts, foo fighters, ect.
On a side note, I was in a guitar shop today looking to get my Music Man set-up and they had a Genzler Classic 2x10 cab with Magellan 350 head and it sounded wonderful with my music man.

Hi Josh,
You're probably best off taking your Two10 to a guitar shop and trying some heads!
Best regards,
