The Reformer arrived this week - it sounds and looks incredible and I will definitely keep preaching the Barefaced gospel!
Thank you,
Peter
P.S. That kind of reads like a good product testimonial, doesn't it?

Got the 1x12 Monday. It sounds huge!
It’s the sound I’m after
I’ll A/B it against the 2x12 with V30s and might end up putting G12 K 100s in that. My issue. Learning curve over the tone I’m after.
Simply loving the 1x12 and the cover is so worth the money. I thought a cover is just a cover but yours are ace. Far better than the after market I bought for the 2x12 and more than worth the differential.

Thanks so much for helping us out with the cab’s for our last tour. They were really wonderful.

Just received the cab, looks beautiful. My amps are at the rehearsal spaces where they're used so I haven't had a chance to plug in yet. The anticipation may kill me. I keep eyeing my blues deluxe but no. I refuse for that to be the first thing I hear through these speakers. As a long time chronic back pain sufferer, lugging this thing down my stairs one handed was delightful.

Hi I recently purchased a used retro two10 to use with my SVT CL and I am in love. I am interested in purchasing a second one. I was wondering if you still had any cabinets left with the old badges with the black cloth grille? Thanks for your time!
Alex responds: Glad you're loving it! We have a handful of the old badges left that are unallocated, so we can make you a matching cab if you get in quick!

20/9/22 - Dubster - UK
Discontinued models
Just looking at the history, I owned an early Big one, bought s/h somewhere around 2010 from memory ( a great cab) which was swapped for a Dubster (a doubly great cab) in March 2012, and have used it ever since. Would be nice to see the Dubster mentioned in the history, a highly under rated cab in my view. The only genre I have not used it with is reggae. Never noticed a lack of HF. I have made the concrete raft foundation of the school hall where I worked move with it.
Thanks for two great cabs.
Francis

I've had it for a few weeks, done three gigs with it...so, so, so good. Compliments from the band and occasionally a "fan". Fills up the space in the room so well. Better than my 212 Avatar, actually, which has a death ray of great tone and some places where you stand and it isn't as great.
Thanks for putting up with all my questions / emails. I'm really happy and will be (and have been) recommending your company.
Cheers and thanks for designing great things,
JT

I bought a BB3 at the end of last year and it KICKS ASS!
Now I'm looking to replace my head and downsize but not sacrifice.
I have it down to an Orange Terror 500 (which all reviews say is amazing) and a GK Legacy 800 (I owned a GK 400 back in the day which I loved) and was wondering your thoughts on which you might think brings the beast to bear.
In particular, volume, which while I'm not filling stadiums or anything, just bars, I want to have available.
I come from punk, but am most often playing a wide range of music in my band (60's to 2000's).
Any thoughts you might have would be welcome!
Thanks!
L
Alex responds: Glad to hear the BB3 is performing well! What amp have you been using recently with it and what do you most like/dislike about its tone, output, etc?

I have a brief question regarding mic (Shure Beta 52) placement (without opening the proverbial worm can; future vid topic???) for my wondrous, thunderous BT3. It hovers about 2-5 cm in front of the top speaker (seems to sound best there). I kick down the horn, but wonder if you had any personal recommendations? By the way, the sound was a little different when the bottom speaker was recorded. Thought they'd be identical (more centralized resonance???). Curious about your thoughts.
Regards,
Will O
Alex responds: I'd put the mic where it sounds best! ;-) You'll be getting more boundary reinforcement from the floor with the bottom speaker, maybe some early reflections of shorter wavelengths too. Glad it's sounding wondrous!

I received excellent feedback from a few audience members on a recent gig - with the bass sound; Barefaced Big Baby 3 and Bergantino Amp + Musicman Sabre
