14/9/22 - Two10S - USA

2.10 arrived

looks beautiful

need a bit of advice connecting up

i run a 800w fender rumble head through the 2.10 i bought a while back

i had the toggle on the back of the head in the 8/4 ohms setting and the 2.10 toggle on 4ohms setting

now that i have 2 2.10s

i have 2 questions

Q1: what should i have the toggle settings set to

Q2: do i daisy chain out of the first cab and into the second or do i come out of the other speaker output on the head

Alex responds: Either switch both cabs to 4 ohms and the head to 2 ohms. Or both cabs to 12 ohms and the head to 8/4 ohms. And then you can daisy-chain or go direct from amp to cabs separately - it's all in parallel electrically so it doesn't matter which you do.

Hello, I bought a cab from y'all a while ago and LOVE IT!. At the time I asked if you had a stereo 2x12 cab and you said something was in the works. I was just wondering if such a thing ever came to life? I am looking for some and you guys came to mind first as I love the 1x12 bought from you.

9/9/22 - Four10 - UK

the 4x10 Is ace,just would like to add a cab to get the max out of my Eden 400, do you think the 275 watt is enough to drive the 4x10 ,I have not used it on a gig as yet so not sure ,if not could you recommend a 2x10 that would complement your 4x10,Rich

Alex responds: The Four10 will certainly go loud with your Eden! I'm a big fan of the modularity of a Two10S+Four10 stack because you get to use the Two10S or the Four10 or the two cab stack. You might not need the Two10S (gigging will show you if you do) but it's certainly a v nice addition.

10/9/22 - Two10S and One10T - Matt Pegg

I have been using my 2x10 and 1x10T for the last year or so, they are both stunning!
Is there any chance of a 2x10T? Or a modification?
I didn’t think I would ever be asking for a tweeter, but the 1x10T is very usable,
I miss that now when using the 2x10 on it’s own.

Simply inspiring.
Clean, punchy, they carry sound quite well (thirty feet is almost as ‘present’ as three feet).

6/9/22 - Super Midget - Germany

My current rig is a Barefaced Super Midget with a Walter Woods blue light for big stages and a Walter Woods red light for smaller venues with doublebass. Preamps EBS Valve DI and Sadowsky. Instruments old Fender Precisons an Jazzbasses.

The Super Midget is for me the perfect box, small & light, powerful, vintagewarm and super for doublebass and - it has a good vintage design (this is also important!:)

If you want to hear a negativ point, I dislike the old Logo. It don`t fits to my vintagelove, the new logo is perfect. I know you established the old brand:)

I think about buying a One 10T for small doublebass gigs, I had a good sounding Glockenklang 10“, but it was too heavy.

4/9/22 - Super Twelve - Belgium

Just a short message with a few words of gratitude and appreciation.

Last night I was playing through my old Super Twelve after a few years of not being able to...
I never played better in my life, the detail, the clarity, the high definition, the power, it was so very insipiring! I'm still glowing with joy from the experience.

It would not have been the same without the Barefaced cab, utter glory.
Thank you for your innovation, your hard work, your dedication and curiosity, your research, for the high quality of what you create, you're making a big difference in many lives!

I play guitar (tuned AEAAEA in A=432Hz pitch, strings 011-070, GFS "the brown sound" pickups) but split my signal with a Tech 21 SansAmp Paradriver (treble 0, mids at noon, mid shift pointing at 170Hz, bass wide open, speaker emulation on full, drive at 9 o'clock). That goes into the 1000 Watt power amp into the Super Twelve.
The dry parallel out goes into a Laney GH50L plugged into a 2x12 loaded with Eminence Swamp Thangs. The style of playing is kinda like shamanic drone, power chords alternated with soft rhythmic tapping on the strings.

I purchased a Super Midget cab in March of this year which has the old barefaced logo on the steel grill. I'm extremely pleased with the SM and would now like to add a Super Compact to my bass rig. I see that they are now supplied with the new script logo.

I would like to have the same logo on each cab and would be grateful if you could let me know what the options are.

The 4x10 is indeed superb, does everything it says on the tin, it really is a fantastic cab.
