Celestion Cream

Celestion Cream

Regular price £174.00 Sale

Speakers can only be purchased as an upgrade to a cabinet and are not sold separately.

The best of Celestion's guitar speakers are available to customise the sound of your Barefaced AVD cab. Add your cab to the cart on the relevant product page and then add the speaker here. The price you see here is the cost we charge to replace the stock Vintage 30 with this custom driver.

If you're ordering a 2x12" or two 1x12" cabs, don't forget to add two drivers! If you only want one custom driver and one stock driver in a 2x12" or two different custom drivers, please email us to explain where to put each driver (top or bottom, left or right). We'll fit the impedance stated in your cab order. Email us if you're confused!

Celestion Cream - Alnico

With a 90-watt power rating, the Celestion Cream is purpose-built for vintage tones, whatever kind of amp you use. By applying new technologies and manufacturing methods developed during the creation of our Creamback speakers, we’ve been able to deliver a higher power rating while preserving the very essence of an alnico guitar speaker. Delivering a glorious, laid-back attack, the Cream exudes warm lows and a brilliant bell-like chime. It has smooth and organic mids, further characterised by a fine-grained detail that adds a high-definition quality to the vocal range. The Cream has been specially created to bring alnico class to all kinds of amps from 1 watt to 90 watts. It conveys a satisfying warmth, detailed expressiveness and exceptional musicality, even at low power levels.

09/07/26 - Reformer 112 (Cream) - Germany

I just wanted to let you know that it arrived and I couldn't be happier! It's a new speaker and a different model to what I had before, so the comparison in tone is not straightforward, but the dispersion, clarity, and huge low end are undeniable! Plus it looks fantastic as well, and the delivery was faster than expected.

I am looking forward to playing through this cab for many years to come!

Clemens

27/05/25 - Usurper 112W (Cream) / Reformer 112 (G12-H75 Creamback)

I am looking for some guidance on what bass cab might suit a fairly unique two amp setup.

I am building a "guitarviol" essentially a modern electric version of the arpeggione. It's tuned the same as a guitar but strung with custom cello strings and has a bridge radius similar to a double bass so it can be played with a bow. It has RMC piezo bridge saddles running through their polydrive ii preamp.

I have a two amp setup.

A fender deluxe reverb head into a barefaced usurper cab loaded with a celestion alnico cream and a barefaced reformer loaded with a celestion creamback 75.

A fender super bassman - no cab for this yet and was considering one of the following:
Super 24

Two10ST

Four10T

Love the two guitar cabs I have from you already and looking forward to your thoughts on what might suit this unusual setup.

Cheers,

Tim

Hi Tim,

This sounds very cool!

My inclination is towards a Four10 (no tweeter) - I think with a bowed electric with piezos you'll benefit from the extra warmth of the 10CR drivers and I can't see a tweeter adding anything good when you've got the guitar rig to do the highs.

Best regards,

Alex
